As always, the series is full of experiments. Mainly in wet painting. Here, as never before, the artist’s work is combined with chance, which in itself is very inspiring.
I was careful with wet painting. Ink fades a lot when diluted with water. I am used to controlling the process of painting from start to finish. However, the atmosphere of a holiday on the seashore required something free and carefree, suggested putting worries aside and enjoying the moment. Which, in essence, suits my style and the philosophy that I am guided by. I trusted my intuition and the result was not long in coming. The works of the cycle are quick sketches of local flora, light and airy.
